近日，长沙市湘剧保护传承中心一级演员周帆凭借在湘剧《夫人如见》中饰演李闰一角荣获梅花奖，这也是长沙湘剧时隔29年再获梅花奖。该剧以"戊戌六君子"谭嗣同夫人李闰的生平事迹为创作蓝本，"夫人如见"四字出自谭嗣同家书抬头，讲述了谭嗣同就义后，李闰继承丈夫遗志，创办"不缠足会"、女子师范学堂，推动妇女解放的动人故事。

Zhou Fan, national first-class performer at Changsha Xiang Opera Protection and Inheritance Center, won China’s top theater honor the Plum Blossom Award for her role as Li Run in My Dear Wife (Furen Rujian)—the second time, after 29 years, that such award was won by a performer of Changsha Xiang Opera.

The opera chronicles Li Run, wife of the reformist and martyr Tan Sitong (one of the "Six Gentlemen Martyrs of 1898"). Its title My Dear Wife echoes Tan’s first line in his letters to her. After his execution, Li fulfilled his legacy: founding an anti-foot-binding society, establishing women’s normal schools, and pioneering women’s liberation.
